So much pain and evil in the world. How to reconcile with a loving God. Either the price of sin is much worse in God’s eyes than we think or God is not as loving as we think. But I have had too many experiences with the boundless patient love of God so wide, so deep and for so long. Therefore, I do not doubt the enormity of God’s love but am left to ponder my underestimated assessment of the gravity of sin. Back to Paul in Romans:
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of the Lord.”
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
